Slate Holdings is a private Wyoming holding company. We build, operate, and scale independent businesses — patiently, and with care.
Each company under the Slate name is its own enterprise. Its own brand. Its own customers. Its own books. What they share is a parent that takes the long view, and a way of working that prizes clarity, durability, and craft over speed.
We are interested in businesses that solve real problems for real people. Many of those problems are unfashionable. They live in the parts of the economy that move slowly, where customers are underserved by software that is loud and overpromised, and where the operators who do the actual work deserve better tools and clearer answers.
Slate exists to support that kind of business. We bring the infrastructure — legal, financial, operational — and the patience to let each company grow on its own terms. We invest in technology where it earns its keep, particularly where it lets a small, careful team do the work of a larger one without losing the thread.
What we build, we mean to keep. Slate is not a fund — there is no exit timeline, no investor clock, no quarterly story to tell. The point is the work itself, done well, over a long horizon.
